On Assignment: Architectural Photography – Paris (Ontario) Dam for Lumenpulse Lighting Inc.
One of the upsides to being a photographer is to travel to amazing locations. So When Lumenpulse contacted me to photograph one of their projects in Paris, I was really thrilled (even though it’s Paris in Ontario). Paris is a small town from Ontario that features a small dam. To put the dam into focus, the town decided to work with lumenpulse to create dynamic LED lighting and illuminate it. Note that if you’d like more information on this project, go take a look at Lumenpulse case study.
The challenge for this specific project was to find the best moment to capture the lighting. For most architectural photography, taking pictures at early dusk or early blue hour is good, in this case, I had to wait for late blue hour for the best lighting.
