On Assignment: Corporate Architecture Photography – Lumenpulse Headquarters for Montoni Group

Another definite highlight of this summer was getting the opportunity to photograph the new Lumenpulse headquarters in Longueuil (east of Montreal). I already had the opportunity to collaborate with The Montoi Group earlier this year and I was thrilled to be chosen for their latest completed project.

This project was rather straightforward, however the main challenge here was to be able to capture the entirety of the rather long building. In those situations, the best approach is to switch the camera to portrait orientation and shift the Tilt-Shift lens left and right. Although I could have used a 14-24mm wide angle lens, I dislike the distortion it creates and find the panorama created from shifting a 24mm TC lens more more appealing.

Following my usual approach, I check the building’s orientation via PhotoEpheremeris website and arrived at the site late afternoon to start with some “day shots”.

I then proceeded with a few dusk photos doing my best to show how massive the building is. I did really appreciate the modern architecture of the building.

Thanks for viewing!
